Shop Small in Frisco. Holiday shopping guide from Frisco family photographer Olivia Ogren-Hrejsa highlights gift ideas from small businesses in Frisco and Little Elm, Texas.
The holidays are here, and 2020 is nearing an end! Woo hoo! Many of us are happy to celebrate by shopping and sharing, and I am here to help! This shopping guide features a few Frisco businesses I love. Happy shopping!
Scout & Cellar Wine
After a year like this, wine makes the perfect gift! And it’s even better when you can enjoy your wine guilt and headache-free! Clean-crafted wines from Scout & Cellar are organic and contain no chemicals, additives, or added sugars. Gift sets start at $39 and ship for free, including the $99 four bottle set. You can easily send the gift of wine to family, friends, customers, or employees. Courtney Reed, my Scout & Cellar rep, is great with suggestions and answering questions.

Norwex: Clean Without Chemicals
You can create a clean and healthy home without chemicals. Norwex home and cleaning products are a sustainable choice for family, friends, and yourself. My personal favorites include the EnviroCloth and the reusable face masks. We use the EnviroCloth regularly for cleaning countertops, cabinets, and windows. The best part? It only needs water to clean. This means my kiddo can clean his OWN bathroom without me worrying about his chemical exposure or any residue. The reusable face masks are a hit in my house too. They filter very small particles and are lightweight and comfortable. These are the masks you always see me wearing. Contact my friend and Norwex consultant, Christine Hugo, by email or by text, with any questions.

Willow + Elm Designs: Hand-crafted with Intention
When two women collaborate, amazing things can happen. Willow + Elm Designs offers hand-crafted stone jewelry, which is made with intention by two Frisco moms. Proceeds from their sales are donated to a different charity each month. During December, 20 percent of sales from red, green, or white items will be donated to the Archangel Animal Network. You can give twice when you shop here.

Cookie Inspired: Custom Sugar Cookies & More
I am a cookie monster. No shame here. I have been thrilled to partner with Cookie Inspired for several projects, and some of you have even been the lucky recipients of our custom “Thank You” cookies. While I’m always happy to enjoy a delicious sugar cookie, Sadaf has expanded her selection to include amazing chocolate chunk cookies and hot chocolate bombs. She even has cute, cookie-inspired apparel!

Yoga On Main: Yoga & Clothing
One of my oldest and dearest friends owns and operates Yoga On Main, an intimate and down-to-Earth yoga studio on Main Street in Frisco. Salena founded the studio in 2009 and has created a very peaceful and mediative space. This year has been especially difficult for gyms and studio spaces. Yoga On Main is still open and now has a line of women’s boutique clothing! You can find out more about the cute clothes on their Facebook page here, or stop by the shop during open hours. FYI: Yoga gift certificates make great presents for those hard-to-shop-for people!

Tumbleweed TexStyles: It’s a Texas Thing
I met Jeb through the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco many years ago. I immediately dug his design aesthetic and have been a fan of the shirts he and his friend Brian created. Now Tumbleweed TexStyles, created by two Frisco educators, has gone big time. They have collaborated with KHYI 95.3 The Range, TUPPS Brewery, and Whataburger. Yes, THE Whataburger. Now Tumbleweed TexStyles has a new brick & mortar store in the Frisco Rail District. I strongly suggest you check out the store in person because the variety of items make it so fun to shop in. Check out their Christmas apparel on the website!

I guess I should remind you that I’m a small business in Frisco too. My speciality is helping busy people like you. We are in our homes a lot more these days and that is a blessing. I can help you fill your homes with beautiful family memories and guide you through each step of the process so you are never overwhelmed. From selecting the best images for your wall portraits, to where to hang them, and all the details in between, I’m here to help.
