This all started with a very special doll. Megan’s mom wanted to capture her daughter’s imagination with her matching collector's doll, before she outgrew loving it.

I am so thankful I was given the privilege of working with this imaginative, kind, and joyful soul. We created the most beautiful images together. Many are still my favorite photographs to this day. Megan enthusiastically played along with all the storylines, ideas and props her mom and I presented. The best part? Megan put her own twist into each shot, letting her personality really shine through.

This dreamy session is still one of my favorites to date. Capturing Megan at her most imaginative age was a brilliant choice by her mom. What better time than that to act out some treasured story tales and dance with your doll? The right time, the right place, and most definitely the right person.
